Camaraderie by definition, refers to a spirit of friendship, trust, and loyalty with people who have shared an experience together or with whom one works. By embodying these core values we are able to ensure that both our hospitality team and guests experience camaraderie. Within this framework our expanded values are detailed below.
Unparalleled Quality
Our mantra is “Everything Matters”. From the food sourced, how it is stored, how it is handled, and finally, to whom it is served, everything matters. From the time a guest books a reservation online, to the parking of their car, to the greeting as they enter our doors, to the service of their wine, cocktail, mocktail and beyond, everything matters. All choices and actions are driven by an emphasis on thoughtfulness and sustainability, not just in an environmental sense but in our relationships as well.
Equity
Commitment to fostering an equitable workplace where every employee is treated fairly and compensated justly is nonnegotiable for us. We believe that an inclusive environment drives our success, so we ensure that our pay structures are transparent. At Camaraderie we utilize One Fair Wage. Dining room staff will receive an hourly wage above the real minimum wage and all gratuities will be shared with all hourly employees, dining room and kitchen, to help close the wage gap.
Respect
In all interactions, respect is the default. This is reflected in how we care for guests, staff, neighbors, purveyors, ingredients, and the environment. Everyone who walks through the door receives the same recognition and courtesy. The staff is gracious and humble toward the people and resources that enable them to do what they love; and in turn we are respectful of our staffs’ time, expertise and desire to grow.
